Have you ever had an experience with another person that is so intensely intimate, so very close that you feel as one?

If you have, then you know how the attraction is incredibly compelling. And at the same time, there is a moment in such closeness that may make you want to distance and flee. Simultaneously we can be drawn and repelled.

For these moments there is no solution but to breathe. The breath grounds and centers us. It allows to stay close and to feel.

Sometimes, when deeply settled in the breath and presence, peace will find us. That is closeness.
