Innocence – A Principle

With the emergence of the principle of innocence into the plot, Pitcairn’s path will take a surprising turn. And for the reader, and as we shall soon see with other characters, it is likely to be a disturbing proposition.

How can someone who has done a misdeed be innocent?

That is the inevitable question that arises. And therein lies the challenge  … a challenge that drives Pitcairn forward toward his own redemption.
