Sagacity Personified

I’ve been asked about the character of Clint, and what he represents. A good question from a very observant reader since Clint plays the critical role of mentor and sponsor to the protagonist, Kevin Pitcairn. If we could channel Carl Jung, he would probably say that Clint represents collective consciousness. He draws forth great wisdom, some of which clearly comes from beyond himself. And he is very aware of the role he plays. He decreases the threat the wisdom could present to others by cloaking himself in a harmless persona. Clint is sagacity personified. On top of that, he’s just plain fun.
